OUR HISTORY
Chatty Kids Pediatric Dentistry was founded out of a deep commitment to serving children and families in our community with compassionate, high-quality dental care. Building on the legacy of Clínica Sonrisas, a trusted provider that had long delivered accessible dental services to underserved children, Chatty Kids was established after the practice was purchased to carry forward that mission.
OUR MISSION
At Chatty Kids Pediatric Dentistry, our mission is to provide compassionate, high-quality pediatric dental care in a fun, welcoming environment where every child feels safe, valued, and heard. We are committed to increasing access to care for all families in our community and creating healthy smiles that last a lifetime.
Dr. Jonathan Salinas earned both his Master of Health Sciences and Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degrees from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee, completing the five-year dual-degree program in 2017.
He met his wife, Becky, in 2011. They were married in 2014 and welcomed their daughter, Evie, in 2016. In 2019, Dr. Salinas completed his pediatric dentistry residency at the East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine.
Following his residency, the Salinas family relocated to Chattanooga, Tennessee, where they have since made their home. In 2021, he achieved Diplomate status with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, a distinction that reflects his dedication to clinical excellence and lifelong professional development.
Outside of his dental practice, Dr. Salinas enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, exercising, and studying new languages.
